Ross and Karin's wedding was so full of joy and happiness. With rich tones of plum accented by whites and greens, it made for a subtly bold contrast. The decor had accents of Asian inspirations that carried throughout the evening. The reception area was up lit with pink, purple and amber. The wedding and reception was held at Museum of Nature and Science were guests were treated with the wedding events in many different spaces that the Museum has to offer. Wedding 911- What Would You Do?

A minor bridal emergency that happened to us recently that was a snap to rectify was that the bride forgot the ceremonial glass and pouch for the Jewish tradition of the breaking of the glass that happens at the end of the ceremony. She had purchased the set at a local store that matched her colors. Unfortunately it did not make it to the ceremony.
The quick fix: take a light bulb (makes for a great 'pop' when stepped on) or a wine glass and set it in the center of a cloth napkin. Bring the sides of the napkin around the glass and tie with preferably a ribbon. We wedding planner typically bring extra ribbon but if there is not a planner, ask the florist. If there is not a ribbon available, use a string, hair tie, garbage tie- hopefully white, or shoe string and voila! It looked great and no one new the difference.

CBS4's Wine, Women and Football

We can't think of a better combination! Denver's CBS4 has teamed up with Southwest Airlines for the 2nd Annual Wine, Women and Football event Tuesday, Nov 16th from 4:30-7:30 at Big Game. Guests are asked to make a $55 donation which benefits Volunteers of America's Brandon House which provides shelter and services to women and their children, the homeless and many others looking for a way out of abusive domestic situations. Guests will be treated with delicious food and wine, silent auction and will be able to ask Denver Bronco football players questions, get pictures and autographs. Real Wedding: Anne + Nick at Ritz Carlton, Bachelor Gulch

Anne and Nick are the epitome of class and timeless style and their July 31st wedding at the Beaver Creek Chapel and reception at the Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch certainly reflects it. With amazing weather and mountain views, the guests were treated with everything Colorado has to offer. Creams and whites with hints of plum danced around the design and decor in this event with subtle touches that made this evening unforgettable!

Had a fantastic time at Tinis and Toes last night at the Four Seasons Hotel Denver. The hotel looks absolutely gorgeous and the staff upon entering could not have been more warm and helpful. A handful of us ladies in the wedding industry were pampered with champagne, martinis and great spa services.
