Stationery Spotlight: Lucky Onion

Check out these new designs from Lucky Onion based right here in Colorado! A big focus they hold dear is being environmentally friendly. All of their printing papers are at least 30% post consumer waste (PCW) with the majority being 40% PCW. Furthermore, their Seeded Invites line, with embedded wild-flower seeds and Letterpress lines use entirely eco-friendly papers. If that wasn't enough, they donate the overages in color cover stock to local schools for their art departments. If you would like to see more, give us a call and we will be happy to show you!

Bold Stripes + Rustic Damask

This gorgeous eco-friendly Spark letterpress invitation that we did is quite possibly my favorite invitation of the year. A beautiful bold navy stripe paired with an rustic damask pattern mixes a contemporary pattern with a delicate, barely there floral motif. What the pictures just slightly reveal is the tone on tone navy damask on navy paper which gives it a stunning depth as well as the tone on tone soft white RSVP card with the pattern under the text that makes it look like a beautiful fabric.

The folio style is a popular style for both bride and guest alike. They come in handy keeping all the important wedding weekend information all in one spot!

Cloud 9 Papers: Wood Grain!

Cloud 9 Papers: Wood Grain! New wood grain papers are making their way into the mainstream that just scream Colorado! You can dress wood grain up and dress it down so that it fits any style. We love this because it adds texture, color and a nice heavy weight to the invitation.

Below is a sample of the brown wood grain used in a folio sample from Checkerboard. It's a makes for a great presentation and keeps accessory cards like RSVP, reception, map, etc. all inside. Guests love these as they can take the set to the wedding without worrying about losing an important informational card.

Below is from one of our favorite stationery and invitation companies: Spark Letterpress. This is a green company that uses 100% recycled paper, organic die and it's paper prosucts are produced by wind. Their wood grain design can be pressed into any paper color to make your invitation a truly unique piece of art! Ok, maybe that is a little far but we believe that the invitation sets the tone for an event and is a direct reflection of you and your style- so art it is!

For all you Montana brides- my home state: This is right up your alley! I wish this was around the year we got married which was almost 9 years ago- 2001!
