Inspiration 101: Autumn

Fall is here! We love the cooler weather and the gorgeous colors that is everything autumn. Hues such as taupes, oranges, browns and just make you want to jump into pile of leaves (in your wedding dress off course!). To make a more contemporary palette, add the color slate or gun metal to give your design an edge! These boards were found on Bridalhood , Boho Weddings and Events and Here Comes the Blog

We're Crazy About: Fabric Bouquets

Flowers, flowers and more flowers!  We just love flowers, they really make a wedding beautiful and brighten up your ceremony and reception areas.  When you are looking for that unique look for your wedding, real flowers don't always have to be used to add that bit of pizazz.  Don't get us wrong, we love real flowers and gorgeous bouquets, but fabric bouquets can really add a new and different element to your bridal bouquet.  The colors really pop in all of the bouquets and the added elements of brooches and feathers, really add a punch of fun to any bouquet.  There are many great Etsy shops with these fascinating bouquets and here are a few of our favorites.

Love the turquoise, blues, and greens, great for those upcoming fall or winter weddings.  Mabelle Cherie Etsy Shop
We love the vintage elements of this bouquet especially the lace.  A Simple Start Etsy Shop

c9 Wyoming Rehearsal Dinner

We were lucky enough to go on a Wyoming adventure with a lovely couple that were all about friends, family and scenery! The rehearsal dinner and wedding took place on Holly’s family ranch called The Hole in the Wall Ranch. Set outside of Kaycee, Wyoming, this sprawling ranch is surrounded by the most amazing red rock formations that allowed for the perfect backdrop to this festive occasion! Kristen Sloan took the amazing photographs and we will be posted the wedding soon!

Stiletto Heel Covers

A few weeks ago, we coordinated a wedding at Arrowhead Golf Course and many of the bridesmaids were worried about their stilettos sinking into the grass.  As most girls are aware, stilettos are hard to walk in on grass, as you seem to aerate the lawn every step you take.  So the bridesmaids were looking for a way to prevent this on their walk down the gorgeous, grassy aisle.  Well, there is a great option to prevent this, stiletto heel covers.  Sole Mates makes stiletto and kitten heel covers.  The covers help to keep your heels from sinking into the grass and causing you to fall over.  Sole mates has a variety of styles to match your shoes and keep them hidden.

Oh Martha! Fall Wedding Favor Ideas

With fall air in the midst, we are starting to think of how to pull the change of weather into upcoming weddings.  Yes, Martha Stewart once again has the answers of how to use fall in all aspects of your wedding.  Favors for your guests being one of those areas.  There are so many ways to pull in the colors and the flavors of fall into your wedding favors.  From ripe pears to tea bags to homemade goods, all your guests will leave feeling happy and looking forward to fall.
Use burlap with orange and brown coated chocolate to create a rustic fall feel.

Fall colors can change any guest favor to fit your theme.

We feel like tea is just the beginning of fall, keeps you warm and cozy as the weather changes.

Who can say no to homemade goods?!

Ceiling Treatments Add to a Great Party

There is so much you can do to beautify a venue and a great way to make it really interesting is the addition of ceiling treatments.  They maybe a pain to put up, but they can take any room from drab to fab.  Ceiling decorations might just be the final touch for a fun, party like feel or even that elegant feel.  You can use anything from pennant flags to tulle to tiny glowing lights to lanterns.  It can be such a lovely personal touch and can be used inside or outside.
