It's All in the Details: Wedding Coasters!

As you know, we love details! As our fab ladies from Spark Letterpress blogged - Coasters can be used as a part of the whole table set up at the reception. Not only can they accent the centerpieces, but can send messages to your guests. Here are some ideas of how to use coasters as one of the "day-of" pieces:

1. Quotes. Poems, lines from songs or movies, etc. Don't forget classics like Dr. Seuss, Pride and Prejudice, or a vow (awww......)
2. Passage. Favorite religious reading or part of a book can be very meaningful
3. Thanks. If there wasn't room in the program, here is a great place to thank everyone for sharing the special day with the couple
4. Signature drink. Create a drink for the special occasion which people can then take home to try to recreate. Also during the reception people can read what they are drinking!
5. Menu. Save some money and put a simplified menu on the coaster!
6. Photo. Here is another way to showcase beautiful engagement pictures or a favorite picture from time together. Letterpress photos are a piece of art!
7. Monogram. Reuse the monogram created for the invites
8. Contest/game. Have a simple "names and date" on the top and on the bottom create a game for your guests to play!
9. Fun facts. Have two different coasters- fun facts about each partner, your guests can get to know you even better!

c9 wedding: Hole in the Wall Ranch, Wyoming

As if the rehearsal dinner pictures weren’t already amazing- check out the wedding day! We are honored that we could be a part of Holly and Erik’s wedding weekend and no detail was forgotten! The ceremony took place next to a creek that runs through the ranch property just next to a buffalo jump. Hay bales were set with blue covers for guests’ comfort. A team of horses called the Powder River Percherons brought the ladies and bride in a Nicole Miller dress to the ceremony site- what an entrance!
Our fabulous team of vendors were: Kristen Sloan Photography, Anna-Be, Molly Peak – Wy Florist, Powder River Percherons, Club X Band, Silver Fox Catering, Dan D Rentals and R & R Rest Stops.

Inspiration 101: Autumn

Fall is here! We love the cooler weather and the gorgeous colors that is everything autumn. Hues such as taupes, oranges, browns and just make you want to jump into pile of leaves (in your wedding dress off course!). To make a more contemporary palette, add the color slate or gun metal to give your design an edge! These boards were found on Bridalhood , Boho Weddings and Events and Here Comes the Blog

We're Crazy About: Fabric Bouquets

Flowers, flowers and more flowers!  We just love flowers, they really make a wedding beautiful and brighten up your ceremony and reception areas.  When you are looking for that unique look for your wedding, real flowers don't always have to be used to add that bit of pizazz.  Don't get us wrong, we love real flowers and gorgeous bouquets, but fabric bouquets can really add a new and different element to your bridal bouquet.  The colors really pop in all of the bouquets and the added elements of brooches and feathers, really add a punch of fun to any bouquet.  There are many great Etsy shops with these fascinating bouquets and here are a few of our favorites.

Love the turquoise, blues, and greens, great for those upcoming fall or winter weddings.  Mabelle Cherie Etsy Shop
We love the vintage elements of this bouquet especially the lace.  A Simple Start Etsy Shop
This would be perfect for a wedding by the sea or ocean.  From Autumn Art Etsy Shop

c9 Wyoming Rehearsal Dinner

We were lucky enough to go on a Wyoming adventure with a lovely couple that were all about friends, family and scenery! The rehearsal dinner and wedding took place on Holly’s family ranch called The Hole in the Wall Ranch. Set outside of Kaycee, Wyoming, this sprawling ranch is surrounded by the most amazing red rock formations that allowed for the perfect backdrop to this festive occasion! Kristen Sloan took the amazing photographs and we will be posted the wedding soon!
