cloud 9 Wedding: Krista + Erik at the Ritz Carlton, Denver

July 31st - Krista and Erik

Two of the sweetest and fun loving people were married on July 31st and we were lucky enough to be a part of their special day. They are avid travelers and wanted to incorporate the beach, water and Colorado elements. The colors: navy, aqua and ivory which combined a formal overall feel with a playful, bright accent.
It was a hot July day and the bridal party looked fabulous. The ceremony was at the Romantic Gardens at Denver Botanic Gardens. The first reveal for Krista and Erik revealed such wonderful emotions and each had a card to read. After the ceremony, it was off to the Ritz Carlton were guests were greeted with their monogram on the staircase that was also used in there invitation. Guests found their names on rocks to direct them to their table in front of a fantastic water feature. The tables were named after the exciting places they have traveled. A photobooth was on site for guests to enjoy and enjoy they did!

cloud 9 wedding: Kim + Gabe at Della Terra, Estes Park

LOVED this wedding! Kim and Gabe have impeccable taste and wanted to treat their guests to a wonderful time in Estes Park. The wedding was at Della Terra and the colors where ecru, navy and lime. They wanted it to be beautiful and clean while bringing in Colorado elements. We blogged earlier about their invitations through cloud 9 Papers that were simple, clean and traditional with a hint of lime. The details were captured by Adam and Imthiaz of Adam & Imthiaz Photography, florals by Perfect Petal, catering by Kristin at Gourmet Fine Catering and Music by A Music Plus. What an amazing vendor group!

Inspiration 101: Slate and Yellow

I had a fabulous meeting with one our fantastic brides at the Sanctuary Golf Course for May 2011 recently and she announced that they changed their color palette. She hesitantly told me what they were and when she did, I was so excited and smitten right away! I was hoping do to this combo: Slate and Yellow.

Here are some great pic's from Kent Meireis of Kent Meireis Photography of the ISES Denver Wedding Showcase in January where Perfect Petal in the Highlands rocked these two colors...

Decor from the ceiling- umbrellas!

Here are some great yellow and slate invites from cloud 9 Papers to set the tone for the wedding:
