Invitation Spotlight: Monique Lhullier

We love this line as each invitation in Monique Lhuillier's Fine Paper Collection album was inspired by Lhuillier’s bridal fashions and her home collections. Just as Monique uses the most beautiful fabrics, laces and accents in her gowns, her invitations are crafted with the finest papers, ribbons and printing processes.

The paper quality of Monique Lhuillier’s wedding invitations is immaculate using rich, luxurious papers of 100% cotton and vellum combined with flawless printing processes lend a refined texture and feel to Monique’s designs. Printing processes include thermography, engraving and letterpress. These elegant wedding invitations couple classic and timeless elements with modern twists.

Cloud 9 Papers: Wood Grain!

Cloud 9 Papers: Wood Grain! New wood grain papers are making their way into the mainstream that just scream Colorado! You can dress wood grain up and dress it down so that it fits any style. We love this because it adds texture, color and a nice heavy weight to the invitation.

Below is a sample of the brown wood grain used in a folio sample from Checkerboard. It's a makes for a great presentation and keeps accessory cards like RSVP, reception, map, etc. all inside. Guests love these as they can take the set to the wedding without worrying about losing an important informational card.

Below is from one of our favorite stationery and invitation companies: Spark Letterpress. This is a green company that uses 100% recycled paper, organic die and it's paper prosucts are produced by wind. Their wood grain design can be pressed into any paper color to make your invitation a truly unique piece of art! Ok, maybe that is a little far but we believe that the invitation sets the tone for an event and is a direct reflection of you and your style- so art it is!

For all you Montana brides- my home state: This is right up your alley! I wish this was around the year we got married which was almost 9 years ago- 2001!
